Our Mission
The mission of the Institute for Connected Sensor-Systems (IConS) is to unite and empower NC State’s research community to advance sensors, sensing technologies, and connected systems from discovery to application. IConS fosters interdisciplinary collaboration, strengthens partnerships within and beyond the university, and provides multidisciplinary education and training for students under the mentorship of internationally recognized engineers and scientists.
